Beau & Bell Camping at South Farm

Terms and Conditions

The campsite is on a working farm within the South Downs National Park. There is an unfenced road used by farm vehicles, uneven ground, and steep hills near the campsite.

When camping at Beau & Bell at South Farm you accept that we cannot be held liable for any accident or injury sustained during your visit and we accept no responsibility for loss or damage of your property. In making this booking you are accepting full responsibility for yourself, your booking party, your children and you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions.

Our camping season will be ….

Camping for 2024 is in the Beau & Bell tents only which are in a fixed location. There are to be no camper vans or caravans.

There is no electric on site.

No acoustic music and no music after 10pm. No loud parties, just quiet fireside banter.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. No large single sex groups permitted.

All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area. We do encourage you to use our wheelbarrows to transport your bags to and from the car. On request cars can drive along to the campsite itself for arrival or packing away on departure, although please note the track is uneven.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, they must be kept on a lead when near livestock. Dog mess must be cleared up as it can endanger livestock. We do not accept any breed banned under the Dangerous Dog Act. If you bring any dog deemed dangerous, antisocial or in any way threatening you will be asked to leave.

Check-in is between 2pm - 6pm (7pm on Fridays)

Check-out is 10am

As we are a working farm, arrivals outside of office hours MUST be pre-arranged with us so we can meet you.

Minimum 2 night booking. We do allow the occasional 1 night stays - please email us to find out if we can accommodate you.

We sell firewood for the firepits. You are welcome to bring your own BBQ but they must be raised off the ground with bricks and no fires on the ground are permitted.

Please remember this is a working farm and, as such, access is not granted to the farm outbuildings or machinery except for access to the campsite or if visiting the Farm Kiosk.

Please take your rubbish with you. The two local Waste Recycling Sites are located in Lewes and Newhaven.

For out of hours emergencies there is a sign on the noticeboard near the Farm Kiosk stating who you can contact. For any serious issues please call 999 for the emergency services.

We do not allow drones or generators.

There will be no refunds given for early departure for any reason.
